Solution

The correct option is A Leydig cells
Leydig cells or interstitial cells are present outside the seminiferous tubules of the testis in the interstitial spaces. They synthesise and secrete testicular hormones called androgens. The principal androgen is testosterone. Androgens are a group of hormones that play a vital role in development of secondary sexual characters. These also play a critical stimulatory role in the process of spermatogenesis.

Male germ cells and Sertoli cells are present in the inner lining of the seminiferous tubules. Sertoli cells provide nourishment to the male germ cells which produce the spermatozoa, i.e., the sperm cells.
