Two angles are called supplementary angles if their sum is 180 $^{\circ}$ .

Given that $30^{\circ} + 2 x = 180^{\circ}$

$\Rightarrow 2 x = 180^{\circ} - 30^{\circ}$

$\Rightarrow 2 x = 150^{\circ}$

$\Rightarrow x = \frac{150}{2}$

$∴ x = 75^{\circ}$
