Let the original price be $x$
So $523.8 = x + \frac{8}{100} x 523.8 = \frac{27}{25} x x = \frac{25 \times 523.8}{27} x = 485$

$VAT = 10 % o f x \frac{10}{100} \times 485 48.5$

So The new selling price is $485 + 48.5 = 533.5$
