Ankit started walking towards North. After walking 30 m, he turned towards left and walked 40 m. He then turned left and walked 30 m. He again turned left and Walked 50 m. How far is he from his original position?

The correct option is C 10 m
Ankit walks 30 m towards north, after walking 30 m he turned left i.e. towards west and walked 40 m.
Then takes a left turn i.e. towards south and moves 30 m.
So, now he is in the same line and 40 m far from where he started.
Then he again turned left i.e. towards East and walked 50 m.
Thus, he passes through his original starting point after covering 40 m and hence he is 10 m East from the starting point.
Hence, option 'D' is correct.
