Ankush prepared a poster in the form of a parallelogram , as in the figure.
(i) If A=(5x+7) and B=(3x3), find all the angles of parallelogram ABCD. ---[2 marks]
(ii) Which mathematical concept is used in this question? ---[1 mark]

(i) Since sum of adjacent angles of a parallelogram is 180

We have A+B=180
5x+7+3x3=180
8x+4=180
8x=176
x=1768=22
A=(5x+7)=(5×22+7)=117
B=(3x3)=(3×223)=63
C=A=117 (opposite angles of parallelogram) -----[ 1 mark]
D=A=63 (opposite angles of parallelogram) -----[ 1 mark]
