Pollution leads to increase in the concentration of the harmful chemicals in the atmosphere which can be controlled with the use of certain devices. Toxic gases are released through the exhausts of the industries and vehicles. The electrostatic precipitator help in the removal or conversion of these gases into non-toxic forms before releasing into the atmosphere. The waste gas is passed through the electrode chamber and the voltage is passed. The dust and particles get adsorbed on the surface of the electrodes. The clean or non-toxic gas is removed and released into the atmosphere.
