(i) A cross between individual with unknown genotype for a particular trait with a recessive plant for that trait is called test cross.
(ii) Microbes used as herbicides are called mycoherbicide. For example, Phytopthora palmivora.
(iii Triplet of nucleotides present on the anticodon loop of t-RNA which is complementary to the codon of mRNA is called anticodon.
(iv) Humification is the formation of humus which is a dark coloured amorphous substance by the decomposition of the dead organic matter by the action of bacteria and fungi.
(v) The bubbles of C02C02 trapped in glutein make idlies puffy, which is produced by the anaerobic respiration of some microbes, like yeast (Saccharomyces) species.
