In the transaction, "Salary paid by cheque" two accounts are affected viz. Nominal A/c i.e., Salary and personal account i.e., Bank.

As per the golden rule of accounting for personal A/c - Dr. the receiver and Cr. the giver and for Nominal A/c - Dr. all expenses and losses and Cr.all income and gains. Bank is making payment. So, Bank A/c will be credited for the given transaction.
