a.The disease which is transmitted from one person to another is called infectious diseases. These are spread through air, water, blood to blood contact and animal vectors. These all serves as the medium for transmitting microorganisms and harmful bacteria from infected person to healthy person. Few examples, cold and coughs, deadly diseases like AIDS, COVID-19, SARS and tuberculosis. Etc.

b.

• Reasons of diabetes - obesity, lack of physical exercise, mental stress, improper diet, hereditary, stress and genetic causes.
• Reasons of heart diseases - heavy smoking, alcoholism, diabetes, hypertension, obesity, lack of physical exercise, mental anxiety and stress, and imbalanced diet.
