The government has taken various measures on education.

1) Sarva shiksha Abhiyaan to make education for the age of kids 6-14 years as a fundamental right.

2) National Council of Educational Research and Training was established in 1961.

3) National Policy for Education was introduced in 1986.

4) Mid day meal scheme was started to improve attendance as well as nutrition of the kids.

5) Teachers training program was also started to provide quality education to the children.

There were many more programs other than the mentioned.
