Pollution can be referred as contamination caused by unwanted matter. Pollution in simple words can be explained as poisoning of natural resources.

Pollution generally takes place because of our careless approach. Our carelessness shown in the regulation of wastes from industry, automobiles and other sources cause heavy air and water pollution.

There are several ways in which pollution takes place, e.g. Water Pollution, Air Pollution, Soil Contamination, Noise Pollution etc.

Leaving industrial waste in rivers causes contamination of water.

Emissions of hydrocarbons from vehicles is a big cause of Air Pollution.

We throw plastic wastes in the open fields which contaminates the soil and reduces its fertility.
