The​ small intestine has millions of tiny finger-like projections called villi.

Its functions are:-

1)The villi increase the surface area for absorptionof digested food.

2)It absorbs all the nutrients from the food and convert it into glucose.

3) After converting the food into glucose and send it into all the body parts.
