Nelson Mandela looked back to history in wonder. He remembered the first decade when the whites ruled over South Africa and how they discriminated against the blacks. They behaved cruelly and inhumanly. They treated blacks like slaves. He also remembered the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for freedom. He mentioned what freedom meant to him at different stages of his life.
