Why did Lencho write a letter to God?

Lencho wrote a letter to god because he had a deep faith in God and he believed that God would definitely help him by giving him 100 pesos so that he could again sow the seeds to get crops and food for his family. Lencho had faith in God. He believed that God's eyes see everything even what's deep in one's conscience.
