  1. We can define sublimation as the transition of a substance from the solid phase to the gaseous phase without changing into the liquid phase, on the absorption of heat energy.
  2. That substance which undergoes sublimation is called a sublimable substance.
  3. For example: naphthalene balls,camphor,dry ice,etc.These substances directly change from the solid-state to the gaseous state.
