1. When we heat the matter then there are various things which we can observe.
2. On heating the matter there is a change in state from solid to liquid and then from liquid to gas.
3. When we heat then the particles gain kinetic energy and start moving very fast.
4. Because of this, there is an increase in the intermolecular spaces between the particles.
5. Further due to the increase in the intermolecular space there is a decrease in the intermolecular force of attraction.
6. These are the effects of heat on the matter which we can observe.
