Solution

Dear Student,

(i) Addition reaction takes place when HBr is added to propene. Br gets attached on the carbon which has lesser number of H atom i.e. more substituted carbon, which is in accordance with Markovnikov rule. Hence, 2-bromopropane will be formed.
CH3-CH=CH2 + HBr CH3-CH(Br)-CH3

(ii)Friedel Crafts's alkyaltion will occur to produce toluene as the product.
C6H6 + CH3Cl Anhy. AlCl3 C6H5CH3

(iii) Acetylene will be formed as product.
2CHCl3 +6Ag CHCH + 6AgCl
