i) Formation of curd is a chemical change, as a curd has a different form, taste and properties than of the milk and it cannot be changed back to milk.

ii) Ethanoic acid reacts with sodium hydrogen carbonate to evolve brisk effervescence of carbon dioxide. The equation for the reaction is as follow:

CH3COOH + NaHCO3 CH3COONa + CO2+ H2O
