Solution

Double entry system is based on the assumptions and principles of accounting. Both the aspects (Debit and Credit) of a transaction are recorded and all types of accounts(personal, real and nominal) are maintained.
In Single entry system, both the aspects of transactions are not recorded. Usually, cash and personal accounts are maintained.
