(A) There are four main parts of the flower, calyx, corolla, androecium and gynoecium.
(B) The anther in the androecium produces the male gametes and the ovary in the gynoecium produces the female gamete (egg).
(C) The corolla are the bright colourful petals. These attract the agents and help in pollination.
(D) The sepals of the calyx protect the flower when it is in the bud stage.
(E) The ovary will transform to a fruit after fertilisation in the future.
