(1) Length of part I = 4.5 cm – 1 cm = 3.5 cm
Breadth of part I = 1 cm
Area of part I = length × breadth
= 3.5 × 1 cm2
= 3.5 cm2

(2) Length of part II = 1 cm
Breadth of part II = 1 cm
Area of part II = length × breadth
= 1 × 1 cm2
= 1 cm2

(3) Length of part III = 6.5 cm
Breadth of part III = 1 cm
Area of part III = length × breadth
= 6.5 × 1 cm2
= 6.5 cm2

(4) Length of part IV = 4.5 cm – 1 cm = 3.5 cm
Breadth of part IV = 6.5 cm
Area of part IV = length × breadth
= 3.5 × 6.5 cm2
= 22.75 cm2
