Integer are whole numbers which are in negative direction also. On the right side of zero we have positive integers and on the left side of zero we have negative integers.

when we move from right to left the numbers keep decreasing. So this means that on the left side of zero the numbers present are smaller than the numbers present on the right side of zero.

So a positive number is always greater than its opposite. For Example -3<3, here 3 is greater than its opposite which is -3

Hence the statement is True
