We agree with the statement. Population explosion basically refers to the sudden and high increase in the growth of human population wherein the growth rate of population is even higher than the growth and development of a country. India is experiencing this population explosion due to the increase in the survival rate. Here, survival rate can be defined as the difference between the birth rate and the death rate. With India witnessing a slow fall in the birth rate and a high decline in the death rate, the survival rate is increasing rapidly which in turn is resulting in an increase in the total population of India. Hence, leading to a population explosion.
