Apoorv has only $2$ rupee and $5$ rupee coins in his piggy bank. The total value of the coins is $Rs.132$. If the number of $2$ rupee coins is $3$ times the number of $5$ rupee coins, find the number of each of coins.

Let x coins of Rs 2 and y coins of Rs 5.

According to question,

$2x+5y=132...\left(i\right)$

$x=3y...\left(ii\right)$

solving both the equation we get,

y = 12 and x = 36

Therefore, number of Rs 2 coins = 36

Number of Rs 5 coins = 12
