Application of electrostatic force??

Dear student,

In nature electrostatic force is observed between charges. It is also called Coulomb force.

Some of its uses in science are:

1. Coulomb force is used in electroscopes to obtain the deflection in gold electroscope.

2. In Xerox and Printer machine electrostatic force exerted by the charged paper on the ink makes the machines to write on it.

3. The capacitive touch screens of our phones works due to electrostatic force of the charges on the finger.
