The amount is $15,000$

$50$% discount $=\frac{50}{100}\times 15000$$=7,500$

Succecssive discounts= $\frac{30}{100}\times 15000=4500$

$=15000-4500=10500$

$=\frac{20}{100}\times 10500=2100$

$=10500-2100$

$=8400$

Difference between the discounts $=8,400-7500$$=900$
