B-cells:

  1. B-cells are WBCs that develop and mature in the bone marrow.
  2. They produce antibodies in order to combat germs and viruses.

T-cells:

  1. T-cells are WBC that develop in the bone marrow and mature in the thymus.
  2. They aid in the prevention of infection and may aid in cancer treatment. They can aid B-cells target pathogens easily.
