Yes, the colour in humans is inherited from their parents. The colour does not effect the reproductive cells as the genes are passed through the gametes and the trait for the colour is also passed on via reproductive cells only; so, the inheritance of colour does not effect the reproductive cells.
The inheritance of colour is controlled by more than two alleles which you will be studying in your higher grades.
