3. Greenhouse gases are emitted by both natural and man-made sources.
4. Many greenhouse gases viz. water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrogen oxides are natural.
5. The natural sources include respiration, decomposition of organic matter, volcanic eruptions, etc.
6. Chlorofluorocarbons are an example of man-made greenhouse gas. They are released into the atmosphere through aerosol sprays, air conditioning, and refrigerants.
