  1. The kingdom of Fungi comprises eukaryotic, heterotrophic organisms.
  2. Rusts, yeasts, puffballs, molds, etc are different types of Fungi.

Humans:

  1. Humans are vertebrates that belong to the kingdom Animalia and Fungi is a separate kingdom.
  2. Humans are not fungi. There are many differences between them.
  3. Fungi are decomposers, they break down complex organic matter into inorganic compounds. On the other hand, humans cannot degrade organic compounds.
  4. Humans are multicellular, whereas, fungi can be unicellular or multicellular. Moreover, fungi also possess a cell wall that is mainly made up of chitin.
