Intron is the RNA copy of Junk DNA which is spliced (cut) in an RNA. It is not a part of a gene.
Yes, intons show DNA polymorphism.
Polymorphism at the DNA level includes a wide range of variations from single base pair change, many base pairs, and repeated sequences.
There could be various polymorphisms in introns, but intron length polymorphism (ILP) is the most easily recognizable type.
