Solution

Haplodiplontic life cycle:

  1. The life cycle involves an alternation of generations between a haploid gametophyte and a diploid sporophyte.

  5. The zoospores form haploid gametophytic generation producing gametes.
  6. These gametes fuse to form a diploid zygote.

Mosses:

  1. Mosses are small flowerless plants with no vascular system that are predominantly found in shady and damp areas as dense green mats.
