Lymphocytes:

  1. Lymphocytes are the main type of cells found in the lymph.
  2. It makes up 18%- 42 % of circulating WBCs in humans
  3. Example- B cells, T cells, and Natural Killer cells.
  4. These cells produce specific antibodies against the pathogens and detect the body's own cells that have turned cancerous or consist of viruses.

Neutrophils:

  1. They are one of the first immune cells to respond against an infection.
  2. It makes up 40% to 70% of all WBCs in humans.
  3. Neutrophils are a type of granulocytes, along with basophils and eosinophils.
  4. Therefore, neutrophils are neither B cells nor T cells.
