Diabetes:

  1. Diabetes is a condition in which the glucose level increases in the blood over a continuous period of time.
  2. It is a metabolic condition or disease that occurs when the body is not able to use glucose efficiently to serve as a source of energy.
  3. The blood sugar level is controlled by a hormone present in our body called insulin.

Symptoms of diabetes:

  1. More stressed or tired than usual,
  2. Feeling thirsty,
  3. Loss of weight,
  4. Blurred vision,
  5. Frequent urination,

Diabetic neuropathy

In diabetic neuropathy, our body nerves send signals to our hands or feet which get damaged due to high blood sugar levels. This causes numbness in the affected areas. Numb toes can be a sign of diabetes.
