Solution
Osmoconformer:
Osmoconformers change the osmolarity of their body fluid to match the concentration of the medium.
This alters the cell volume as they are subject to loss or uptake of electrolytes and water.
Many marine invertebrates are osmoconformers.
Oysters live in bays and estuaries where there is salinity fluctuation occurs.
They are unable to regulate their extracellular fluid and instead regulate cell volume. Thus, they are osmoconformers.
