Vascular Plants:

  1. These plants have specialized conducting tissues for transporting water, minerals, and organic substances.
  2. The xylem helps in the transportation of minerals and water whereas the phloem helps in the translocation of organic substances.
  3. Examples- Angiosperms, Gymnosperms, Ferns, etc.
  4. Protists are not vascular. Even kelps, which look like plants do not have any vascular tissues.
