Solution
Amphibians
Amphibians are any organisms that can live on both land and water.
In the plant kingdom
Bryophytes and Pteridophytes are considered the amphibians of the plant kingdom.
These plants survive on land but need water for fertilization.
They complete their vegetative and reproductive phase on land and water respectively.
Pteridophytes are vascular plants that have defined phloem and xylem to transport substances.
Thus they are also called vascular amphibians, not true amphibians.
Examples- Ferns, mosses, horsetails, etc.
