We know that,
Four terms are said to be an in proportion if
Product of extreme $=$ Product of means

$= 800$
Product of means $= 9 \times 80$
$= 720$
Since $8 \times 100 \neq 9 \times 80$
Hence, the given numbers are not in proportion
