Solution

The correct option is A Guard cells
The pore present on the epidermis of the leaf is called stomatal pore. The stomatal pore is surrounded on each side by guard cells and two to four subsidiary cells. The guard cells and subsidiary cells are epidermal cells. The only epidermal cell with chloroplast are guard cells. Thus it is capable of photosynthesis. The subsidiary cells lack chloroplast and support the guard cells by providing them help in the storage of water or ions. They also facilitate the movement of the guard cells. Pavement cells are protective layers found in the outermost epidermal layer in plants.
