Solution

The correct option is B 2,2

Given, equation is x2 – 4x + 4 = 0.

For the standard form of quadratic equation ax2 + bx + c = 0, roots are b±b24ac2a.

Here, a=1,b= 4,c=4

Roots of the quadratic equation x2 – 4x + 4 = 0 is:

x=b±b24ac2a =(4)±(4)24×1×42

=4±16162

=(4±0)/2

=2,2
