  1. It is a mode of reproduction wherein a single parent produces a new offspring.
  2. The new individuals are the clones of their parents.
  3. Example- Bacteria, Hydras, etc.

Zoospore

  1. They are asexual spores produced by some species of fungi and algae.
  2. They can be diploid or haploid.
  3. They are flagellated & motile.
  4. Algae like Ulothrix and Chlamydomonas etc and fungi like Saprolegnia produces zoospores.
