The correct option is A 55 cm, yes
Let the length of the side of the square be a cm
Area of square =side2=a2
Since area is given as 125 cm2
Hence,
a2=125
Taking square root of both sides, we get
a2=125
a=53
The length of the side of the square a is 55 cm which can not be simplified into a p/q form where q0 and thus length of the square is a surd.
