The correct option is A 3 cm
Given:
Length of one parallel side = 5 cm
Height = 4 cm
Area of trapezium = 16 cm2

Let length of unknown side be x cm
Area of trapezium
= 12×(Sum of parallel sides)×height
16 = 12×(Sum of parallel sides)×height
16 = 12×(x+5)×4
16×24 = x+5
324 = 8 = x+5
x = 8-5 = 3 cm
