(i) Area of a triangle:
Area = 1/2 x base x height
Area = 1/2 x 4 x h
64 = 2 x h
h = 32 cm.
(ii) Area of a rectangle
Area = length x breadth
Area = 16 x b
64 = 16 x b
b = 4 cm.
(iii) Area of a square:
Area = side^2
64 = s^2
s = 8 cm.
Therefore,
h - b - s = 32 - 4 - 8 = 20 cm
(i) Area of a triangle:Area = 1/2 x base x height
Area = 1/2 x 4 x h
64 = 2 x h
h = 32 cm.
(ii) Area of a rectangle
Area = length x breadth
Area = 16 x b
64 = 16 x b
b = 4 cm.
(iii) Area of a square:
Area = side^2
64 = s^2
s = 8 cm.
Therefore,
h - b - s = 32 - 4 - 8 = 20 cm
