Given pair of straight line y2-9xy+18x2=0

Let the above line represents lines y=m1x and y=m2x

(ym1x)(ym2x)=y29xy+18x2

y2(m1+m2)x+m1m2=y29xy+18x2

Step 2. On comparing both sides, we get

m1+m2=9 and m1m2=18
