The simplest triangles available in the figure are:

ABJ, BCK, KLC, CED, CEF, CFL, LFI, FGI, GHI, KLI, and KIJ. So, there are 11 triangles.

The triangles composed of two components are KCF, KFI, CDF, FHI, CFI, and KCI. So, there are six such traingles.



The triangles composed of four components are KDF and KFH. So, there are two such triangles.


Total triangles = 12 + 6 + 2
= 20

Hence, the total number of triangles in the given figure = 20
