Arithmetic mean of $7$ observations was found to be $32$ . If one more observation $48$ was to be added to the date what would be the new mean of the data?

Arithmetic mean of $7$ observations $= \frac{s u m}{7}$
Sum $= 32 \times = 224$
New sum $= s u m + 48 = 224 + 48 = 272$
New mean $\frac{n e w s u m}{8} = \frac{272}{8} = 34$
