Liquids have weak force of attraction as compared to solids.
Gas particles are in constant random motion and have the weakest force of attraction between them.
Semi-solids like toothpaste have weaker force of attraction than soilds but stronger than liquids.
Thus, the order of force of attraction is:
Air < Water < Toothpaste < Iron rod
