Solution
The cells of the body use up the oxygen from the oxygenated blood and release carbon dioxide into the blood making it deoxygenated. The heart receives deoxygenated blood from the body into the right atrium. This passes from to the right ventricle via the tricuspid valve. The pulmonary artery then carries the blood to the lungs for oxygenation.
