Arrange radioactive radiations in the order of increasing penetrating power.
Step 1:
Penetrating power is the ability of radiation to pass through the matter. If the radiation pass through the matter easily then its penetration power is high and if radiation pass through the matter is difficult then its penetration power is low.
Step 2:
The order of radioactive radiations of penetration power is alpha rays < beta rays < gamma rays.
A piece of paper can block the alpha particle, the Beta particle can easily penetrate in the paper but blocked by aluminium foil and gamma-ray can easily pass through from paper, aluminium foil or any other shielding block.
